Covid-19

Spring COVID-19 vaccinations now available to all eligible people

The spring COVID-19 vaccination programme is live for all eligible people to get vaccinated to help protect them from becoming seriously unwell from the virus.

From Monday 13 April 2026 until Tuesday 30 June 2026, those at increased risk from severe illness can get the spring COVID-19 vaccine – these include individuals aged 75 or over, people with a weakened immune system (6 months to 74 years), or people who live in an older adult care home.

To help make it as easy as possible to get a COVID-19 vaccination in Northamptonshire, all eligible people are now able book an appointment or attend a walk-in vaccination clinic.

Our GP practice won’t be providing the spring COVID-19 vaccination to our patients, but you can still get vaccinated locally.  You can book on-line via:  COVID national booking system or telephone: 0116 497 5700, Mon-Fri, 9am to 4pm for help finding a local vaccination clinic.

For detailed information about all NHS recommended vaccinations and how to get a COVID-19 vaccination in Northamptonshire, this spring visit: https://www.icnorthamptonshire.org.uk/covid.

If you, or your child, are eligible, make sure you get the extra protection you need this spring.
