Annual Reviews Update
Posted or Updated on 24 Mar 2026
Patients with Chronic Disease Recalls
We are improving how we invite patients for annual reviews. We now use a clinical-need system rather than birth months. You may be invited sooner or later than usual this year. Your medications will not be affected.

FAQ's
Why have you changed the system?
Our previous birth-month system was administrative. Our new system is clinical. By moving to a risk-based approach, we can prioritise patients who need more frequent monitoring and offer more comprehensive, "one-stop" appointments.
Do I need to do anything?
No. You do not need to contact us to ask when your review is due. Our clinical system will flags when you are due for an invite, and we will contact you via SMS or letter with instructions on how to book.
What happens if I have more than one condition?
This is one of the main benefits of the new system! If you have multiple conditions (e.g., Diabetes and High Blood Pressure), we will aim to coordinate your blood tests and clinical reviews into a single block of time.
I’ve been invited "early" — is there something wrong?
Not at all. During this changeover period, some patients will naturally fall into an earlier slot to align them with the new schedule. This is simply a transition phase.
