The old Towcester Health Centre site has been demolished, and the site is now that of the new Brook Health Centre. Most of the staff from the old Health Centre have new offices on the first floor of the new building.
Health VisitorAvailable for advice and support for parents as well as providing routine checks for young children. Baby massage, post-natal support and a breast-feeding support group is also available. Telephone 01327 350 182. The breast-feeding support group meets on a Monday morning from 11am to 12.30 in the Health Education Room on the first floor. This is a drop-in session, open to all breast feeding mums. It provides peer support and a place to meet other breast-feeding mums. Health Visitors and a breast-feeding counsellor are also available during the sessions. The baby clinic is held on a Wednesday morning from 10.30am—12pm in the Health Education room. You may weigh your baby in the Health Education room at other times to the baby clinic, unless the room is in use by another group.
District NursesAvailable for help and advice and they deal with most of the nursing care services provided in the home. Arrangements can be made through your doctor or directly with the district nurses.
MidwifeMs Anna Mezciems can be contacted here. She holds antenatal clinics at Brook Health Centre and Silson Surgery, Silverstone.
School NurseAvailable for advice and help with children of school age. Can be contacted directly via the school or 01327 350 182.
PhysiotherapyAvailable after referral by your doctor.
Chiropody/PodiatryProvide daily sessions and can be seen by self or doctor/nurse referral. You can pick up a blue referral form at reception or from your doctor or nurse.

· Phlebotomist Our phlebotomist is available in the Treatment Room at Towcester on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30 am – 11.30 am for all routine blood taking. Phlebotomy is available at Silverstone on Wednesday mornings. Blood taking is by appointment. Your doctor or nurse who advised the blood test will have left a request on the computer asking the phlebotomist and lab which particular tests are required.
· Travel Clinic and Immunisations Please remember to book in with our nurse-led travel clinic in plenty of time to get your immunisations and malaria prophylaxis. Remember, some immunisations need to be given at least 8 weeks before you travel.
· Minor Surgery Dr Supple and Dr Burgess provide this service for removal of minor skin lesions and joint injections. Please make an appointment with the doctor for initial diagnosis before booking the minor surgery appointment.
· Family Planning Dr Williams is holding one family planning session per week, on Monday evenings. She can provide advice and fit contraceptive coils and implants.
· Children’s Immunisations Chris Pinchen, our children’s immunisation nurse, provides your child's routine inoculations. You will receive appointments for these automatically.
· Mental Health This is a new service we are pleased to offer. Adam is our new Primary Care Mental Health Worker. Your GP or nurse may suggest that you make an appointment to see him. |

Private Services
We also offer the following services privately in the building;
· DVLA and occupational medicals (Dr Supple) · Physiotherapy—private physiotherapy is available next door at the old medical centre on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Your doctor can refer you. · Podiatry—Andy Evans, one of podiatrists, can see patients privately on Tuesday evenings. · Massage therapist, Annukka Barrett is available to see patients privately on Monday evenings. Your doctor/practice nurse can refer you or you are welcome to make an appointment at the reception – more information available on website www.holisticmassage.uk.com.
